So, the first time we left our son Jackson for more than a couple hours is when we went to Vegas with friends when he was about 10 months old.  It was really tough leaving him for a couple days, even knowing he'd be in great hands!  So, I brought his favorite little train with me and my husband and I took photos of everything we did with Jackson's train.  He was really into looking at photos at the time, and when we came home, we showed him all of the photos and explained what the "Choo-choo" was doing in each one.  It was a really great way for us to ease our anxiety with leaving him behind and it gave us something to bring home and show him.  Here is the "Choo-choo's" adventures, obviously, he is talking to Jackson in the captions ;-)

We're here at the Portland airport!  Recognize the carpet....people always take photos of it!

We're here!  We made it to Vegas!  Everyone wants to say hi to you, we miss you so much already!

We get to take a shuttle to the hotel....I heard we get to stay in a CASTLE!  I can't wait to show you!

Mom and dad are checking us in to our castle right now! 

This sure takes a while, I hopped on Lisa's head for fun while we were waiting!  HA HA! 

This is our room!  I bet you'd like to jump on this bed, it's really comfy...there's Lisa again!  Hi Lisa!

Mom and dad just had to come to this burger places with palm trees, its called In & Out...they sure walked a long time to come get it

This road here is called the "Strip."  There are really neat buildings and casinos and at night there are a lot of bright, colorful lights!

This one is called the Eiffle Tower!  Hopefully someday we'll get to visit the real one!

WHOA!  Do you see that motorcycle coming out of the building?!?  Cool, huh?

I was rolling through a casino and saw this slot machine with fishies on it!  I knew you'd want to see it!

I found this cool boat too!  I wish you were here to see all these fun things!

This lady here is called the Statue of Liberty!  The real one is in New York...I'm sure we'll get to go there someday!

JACKSON!  This is the castle we're staying in!  I told you you'd love it!  Isn't it big and super cool?!?!?!

Holy mackerel, we sure have walked a lot today...I'm riding on an escalator

It's dinner time!  PIZZA!  Yum!  There's Adam in the back, say hi!

Look Jackson!  It's another train, just like me!  Although he's much bigger and he's called a monorail.

Gambling time...here's a slot machine....but unfortunately, I didn't win any money for your piggy bank.
